Let's build a playground together in Surabaya
Volunteers in Surabaya are raising $350 for a playground at Maple Primary School.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 194 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $230
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
