Let's build a playground together in Petrópolis
Volunteers in Petrópolis are raising $650 for a playground at Harmony Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $390, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 137 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $440
• Permits and inspections: $105
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
