Let's build a playground together in Perth
Volunteers in Perth are raising $3,200 for a playground at the old Baobab bus depot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Baobab bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,200.
It will serve about 463 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $310
• Tools hire and delivery: $450
• Materials: $2,440
