Let's build a playground together in Orlando
Volunteers in Orlando are raising $1,900 for a playground at the Jacaranda community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,900.
It will serve about 475 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Materials: $890
• Tools hire and delivery: $670
• Safety equipment and signage: $340
Thank you so much.
