Let's build a playground together in Ogbomosho

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 303 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $185 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Tools hire and delivery: $45 If you're reading this, thank you. - Favour
