A community-led a playground at the old Cedar bus depot that will serve 82 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $150.
It will serve about 82 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $150 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
