Let's build a playground together in Narayanganj

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $200. It will serve about 269 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $200 goes: • Materials: $130 • Permits and inspections: $15 • Safety equipment and signage: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $20 Thanks for being kind about this.
