Let's build a playground together in Londrina

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $850. It will serve about 264 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $850 goes: • Materials: $580 • Permits and inspections: $125 • Safety equipment and signage: $65 • Tools hire and delivery: $80 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Marcos
