Let's build a playground together in Leeds
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $2,350 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,350.
It will serve about 283 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $340
• Materials: $1,900
• Permits and inspections: $110
