Let's build a playground together in Kolkata
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $350 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 567 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $250
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope it all works out, Yash. This could happen to any of us.
sending strength, Yash. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. After 26 years in retail I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
