Let's build a playground together in Gazipur
A community-led a playground at the Sycamore community hall that will serve 198 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 198 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $80
• Materials: $415
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Tamanna.
Safety equipment and signage is $55 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. It helps to be asked.
