Let's build a playground together in Cardiff
Volunteers in Cardiff are raising $2,350 for a playground at the Lotus health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,350.
It will serve about 469 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $195
• Materials: $1,900
• Tools hire and delivery: $255
