Let's build a free library and reading room together in Rawalpindi
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $400 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 117 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
• Materials: $360
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Thinking of you, Shahid. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Depok
You're not alone, Shahid. Hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Duisburg.

hope things get better soon, Shahid. More neighborhoods should do this
Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
