Let's build a free library and reading room together in Munich
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $3,400 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,400.
It will serve about 135 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Materials: $2,400
• Permits and inspections: $290
• Safety equipment and signage: $360
• Tools hire and delivery: $350

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Seda.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. materials comes first ($2,400) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
