Let's build a free library and reading room together in Envigado
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $650 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 350 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $85
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Materials: $510
I hope life is good to you.

Thank you all. We're at 15% now ($98). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts.
