Let's build a free library and reading room together in Comilla
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $250 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 88 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $250 goes:
• Materials: $130
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
