Let's build a free library and reading room together in Addis Ababa
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $300 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 332 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Materials: $230
• Tools hire and delivery: $40

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. safety equipment and signage is the biggest at $30.
