Let's build a covered market stall space together in Warren

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,500. It will serve about 214 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $3,500 goes: • Materials: $2,700 • Permits and inspections: $115 • Safety equipment and signage: $470 • Tools hire and delivery: $215 If you're reading this, thank you. - Hannah
