Let's build a covered market stall space together in Reims
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $2,550 for materials.
🇫🇷 Reims, Grand Est, France342 views
For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,550.
It will serve about 301 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $320
• Permits and inspections: $160
• Materials: $2,070
Thanks for being kind about this.

hope things get better soon. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer!
Great idea, hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
