Let's build a covered market stall space together in Obuasi
Volunteers in Obuasi are raising $550 for a covered market stall space at Harmony Park.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 148 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $420
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
