Let's build a covered market stall space together in Juiz de Fora
A community-led a covered market stall space at the Union health centre yard that will serve 245 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 245 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $165
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
