Let's build a covered market stall space together in Jakarta

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 564 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $450 goes: • Permits and inspections: $25 • Materials: $420 • Tools hire and delivery: $5 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
