I coordinate donations at the Harmony Primary School in Kathmandu. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Kathmandu, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Primary School on Wednesday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Best of luck, Ashok. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
