Let's build a covered market stall space together in Gangnam

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $1,300 for materials.

Gangnam
For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,300. It will serve about 382 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $1,300 goes: • Materials: $840 • Permits and inspections: $190 • Safety equipment and signage: $85 • Tools hire and delivery: $185 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good luck, Woo-jin. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Gangnam.
