Let's build a covered market stall space together in Dublin
A community-led a covered market stall space at the Baobab vacant lot that will serve 229 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 229 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $210
• Permits and inspections: $240
• Safety equipment and signage: $350
