Let's build a covered market stall space together in Dhaka

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Park, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 248 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $280 • Permits and inspections: $20 • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Tools hire and delivery: $45 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Ayesha
