Let's build a covered market stall space together in Cardiff

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,450. It will serve about 415 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $1,450 goes: • Permits and inspections: $115 • Materials: $1,050 • Tools hire and delivery: $285 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Clara
