Let's build a community garden together in Thủ Đức
A community-led a community garden at Union Park that will serve 174 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 174 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Materials: $255
