Let's build a community garden together in Nagpur

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 399 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $410 • Permits and inspections: $30 • Safety equipment and signage: $70 • Tools hire and delivery: $40 With deep gratitude, Mohit
