Let's build a community garden together in Mumbai
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $350 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 218 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
• Materials: $300
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
