Let's build a community garden together in Lviv

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 347 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $350 goes: • Materials: $190 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Tools hire and delivery: $65 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Zoya
