Let's build a community garden together in Grenoble
Volunteers in Grenoble are raising $1,150 for a community garden at the Lotus community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,150.
It will serve about 283 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Permits and inspections: $220
• Materials: $710
Thanks for being kind about this.

So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
