Let's build a community garden together in Daegu
Volunteers in Daegu are raising $2,150 for a community garden at Maple Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $790, and the remaining cost is $2,150.
It will serve about 324 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $185
• Materials: $1,650
• Tools hire and delivery: $315
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
