Let's build a community garden together in Coventry
A community-led a community garden at Acacia Primary School that will serve 516 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,000.
It will serve about 516 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $155
• Materials: $1,550
• Permits and inspections: $295
