Let's build a community garden together in Casablanca
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $500 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 354 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $300
• Permits and inspections: $65
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $95
