Let's build a community fridge together in Poznań

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $550 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 260 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $550 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $60 • Permits and inspections: $110 • Materials: $380 I hope life is good to you.
