Let's build a community fridge together in Lucknow
Volunteers in Lucknow are raising $400 for a community fridge at the Jacaranda health centre yard.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 313 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
