Let's build a community fridge together in Liverpool
A community-led a community fridge at the old Pioneer bus depot that will serve 107 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 107 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $320
• Safety equipment and signage: $370
• Permits and inspections: $110
