Let's build a community fridge together in Lapu-Lapu
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $600 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 188 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $430
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
