Let's build a community fridge together in Kozhikode
A community-led a community fridge at Lotus Park that will serve 120 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $110, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 120 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
• Materials: $260
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
