Let's build a community fridge together in Kampala
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $250 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 124 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $250 goes:
• Materials: $210
• Safety equipment and signage: $15
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
