Let's build a community fridge together in Jessore
A community-led a community fridge at the Maple health centre yard that will serve 298 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $200.
It will serve about 298 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $200 goes:
• Materials: $115
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $30
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Keep going, Rubel. More neighborhoods should do this. Greetings from Bogra.
