Let's build a community fridge together in Jakarta
A community-led a community fridge at the Maple health centre yard that will serve 458 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 458 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Materials: $495
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
