Let's build a community fridge together in Gdynia
A community-led a community fridge at the Pioneer vacant lot that will serve 150 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,650.
It will serve about 150 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $190
• Permits and inspections: $125
• Materials: $1,335
