Let's build a community fridge together in Epe
Volunteers in Epe are raising $500 for a community fridge at the Harmony health centre yard.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $170, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 169 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
