Let's build a community fridge together in Coimbatore

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 273 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $700 goes: • Materials: $570 • Permits and inspections: $60 • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Tools hire and delivery: $15 I hope life is good to you. - Abdul
