Let's build a community fridge together in Ciudad de México
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $1,000 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,000.
It will serve about 187 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Materials: $790
• Tools hire and delivery: $115
