Let's build a community fridge together in Bhaktapur
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $100 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $155, and the remaining cost is $100.
It will serve about 96 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $100 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
