Let's build a community fridge together in Asaba
Volunteers in Asaba are raising $450 for a community fridge at the Harmony health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 105 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
