Let's build a community fridge together in Angeles
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $550 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 102 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $340
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $90
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
